Error message found while booting and boot process is stopped
Issue
- Seeing the following error message while booting which halts the boot process
INIT: No inittab file found
INIT: Entering runlevel: 1
INIT: no more processes left at this runlevel
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- SysVinit
