Cannot update a VM description or comment in RHEV while VM is running

Issue

  • Unable to edit the description or comment for a running VM in RHEV

  • The following error may be displayed by the admin portal:

Failed updating the properties of the VM. VM should be in status Down in order to change the VirtIO-SCSI device.
