Why does the machine stop booting after upgrading to a new kernel and booting from SAN with EMC PowerPath?
Issue
- System is unable to boot with the new kernel after update.
- While using boot from SAN with EMC PowerPath system is unable to boot with new kernel after updating kernel
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- EMC PowerPath
- Boot from SAN
