Why am I facing event messages regarding watermark threshold of the VG metadata area size?

Issue

  • New disk are not visible on other machines in the cluster.
  • Warnings vdsm logs regarding free metadata size like bellow:
The system has reached the 80% watermark on the VG metadata area size on <SD. This is due to a high number of Vdisks or large Vdisks size allocated on this specific VG.
