How does same NFS share mounted on two different mount points cache data?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • How does same NFS share mounted on two different mount points cache data?
  • How is the cache shared when same NFS share is mounted on two different mount points with different mount options.
  • What happens when two mountpoints have the same NFS share in /etc/fstab, one with defaults and one with noac option.
    Eg.
servername:/nfs/export /nfs/mount nfs defaults 0 0
servername:/nfs/export /nfs/smount nfs defaults,noac 0 0

Will all the reads be made with noac or ac?
