We have cleared the FS corruption by using fsck manually on each FS, now DB team is complaining that DB FS corruption is re-occuring for them.
Issue
- The following error is being observed:
Logical drive 0 of Array Controller in slot 1: surface analysis has detected inconsistent data.
- Repeated filesystem corruption is occurring. Running fsck fixes for a while, then problem happens again.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
- Oracle Database
