How to set user entry resource limit in Red Hat Directory Server or IPA/IdM

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

It is sometimes necessary to set resource limit per user entry instead of globally in Red Hat Directory Server or 389-ds-base for IPA/IdM.
For example with IPA/IdM, in the event of large nismaps, automount in the context of IPA/IdM may not work.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5,6
Red Hat Directory Server 9
389-ds-base for IPA/IdM
