Issue

  • How to pass an empty string value for a parameter in spacewalk-api through the command line ?

  • Creation of channel via API fails with below mentioned error:

# spacewalk-api --server=<satavr> --user=<userid>--password=<pwd> channel.software.create "%session%" new_chan_label new_chan_name new_chan_summary channel-x86_64 <don't want a parentLabel> sha256
Cmd output: Fault returned from XML RPC Server, fault code -1: redstone.xmlrpc.XmlRpcFault: unhandled internal exception: User 2 does not have access to channel sha256 or the channel does not exist.
