Issue

  • kinit works against the same KDC, but user authentication fails with below error message while using SSSD to authenticate Active Directory users in RHEL5.
sshd[25104]: pam_sss(sshd:auth): system info: [Cannot find KDC for requested realm]
sshd[25104]: pam_sss(sshd:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=ssh ruser= rhost=hostname user=testuser

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • sssd-1.5.1-49.el5
