HornetQ does not deliver message immediately at times / Same message is pushed multiple times from Queue to MDB

Issue

The MDBs do not consume messages immediately at times. I have often noted message consumption taking a longer time. When I observe the destination, I could see a large number of messages are in "delivering" state.
When large messages pushed to Queue which takes more than 5 minutes to process, same message get pushed to queue again which is causing duplicacy in the data.
