Issue

  • RHEV M installation fails with:
[ ERROR ] Failed to execute stage 'Misc configuration': 'getpwnam(): name not found: vdsm'

This appears to be a failure to create an ISO domain due to the vdsm user not being in /etc/passwd.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.3
  • Authentication via LDAP
