virt-v2v error "No root device found in this operating system image" when converting Windows system
Issue
- When trying to import it into RHEV, getting the following error:
"No root device found in this operation system image"
- Running virt-v2v results in the following error:
virt-v2v: No root device found in this operating system image.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- virt-v2v
- Windows virtual machine using NTFS filesystem
- ksplice
