Issue

  • How to find which virtio network interface corresponds to which PCI bus ID in RHEL 5 ?
  • Under RHEL6 I can see this with the command udevadm info -a -p /sys/class/net/eth0
  • Under RHEL5 the comamnd udevinfo -q all -a -p /sys/class/net/eth0 does not display the same data.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (virtual guest)
  • KVM or RHEV virtual machine
  • virtio network interfaces
