Unable to use some options for int-subfields in JBoss BRMS

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Business Rule Management System (BRMS) 5.3.x, 6.0.0

Issue

The configuration is reverted back to its original state after saving a rule which contains an int sub-field that uses some operators such as less than, greater than, less than or equal to and greater than or equal to in BRMS UI as follows:

The only options available after saving are: equal to, not equal to, is null and is not null as follows:

Resolution

The issue is fixed from JBoss BRMS 6.0.1 onwards.
