The repquota command does not report quotas for NFS mounts on an NFS client

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • When issuing the repquota command it does not print quota reports for NFS mounts but reports them fine on the NFS server:

NFS Client

# mount | grep ' nfs'
server.example.com:/home/share on /home/foobar type nfs (rw,nfsvers=3,addr=192.168.122.138)
# repquota -va

NFS Server

# mount | grep 'home'
/dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_home on /home type ext4 (rw,usrquota,grpquota)
# repquota -va
