Is it possible to configure raw devices with custom names instead of using default '/dev/raw/raw<N>' naming format?
Issue
- We are configuring the
rawdevices using lvm volumes as per the steps in solution 231323. Is it possible to assign a custom name (e.g./dev/raw/vg1-lv1) for raw devices instead of using default/dev/raw/raw<N>naming format?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- RAW devices
