How can I use 'memstomp' to check for overlapping 'memcpy()' arguments?

Issues can arise when non-POSIX-compliant overlapping arguments are made to glibc's memcpy(). Is it possible to check whether such issues occur at runtime?

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Beta.
  • Red Hat Developer Toolset v2.
  • glibc's memcpy().
