RHEVM: Unable to delete default cluster

Issue

  • Unable to delete default cluster from RHEV Admin Portal.

  • When trying to remove the default cluster which doesn't contain any hosts/volumes. Fails to remove with below error message :

Operation Cancelled
Error while executing action:

    Cannot remove default Host Cluster.
    Cannot remove Cluster. One or more Template(s) are still associated with it

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.6
  • Red Hat Virtualization 4.x
