Why does adding a host with an already configured bonding to a RHEV cluster with VLAN tagged logical networks fail?
Issue
- We deploy RHEL6 hosts with an already configured bonding.
- We have RHEV clusters with VLAN tagged logical networks.
- Our
rhevmnetwork is not configured to allow VM traffic and is not VLAN tagged. - When adding a host with an already configured bonding to a RHEV cluster which has VLAN tagged logical networks the host fails to be added to the cluster and the host is declared "Non Operational":
2014-Mar-31, 18:24 Host <hostname> installation failed. Failed to configure management network on the host.
2014-Mar-31, 18:24 Failed to configure management network on host <hostname> due to setup networks failure.
2014-Mar-31, 18:23 Host <hostname> does not comply with the cluster cluster33 networks, the following networks are missing on host: 'vlan10,vlan20'
Environment
