Why does system become slow with "gnome-system-monitor" in full screen ?
Issue
- Installed RHEL6.5 on a system with "MGA G200eR2" graphics, it is using
xorg-x11-drv-mga driverfor display. - When trying to run
"gnome-system-monitor"or"glxgears"in full screen, Xorg start using 100% CPU. - This issue was not observed with
xorg-x11-drv-vesadriver on same system.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5
- xorg-x11-drv-mga-1.6.1-10.el6.x86_64
