multipathd does not start upon reboot .
Issue
- Upon reboot multipathd does not start. if I start it manually it is starting "service multipathd start" .
Upon reboot status show as
# service multipathd status
multipathd dead but pid file exists
Pls help trouble shooting this issue .
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.2
- Device mapper multipath
