Thread leak in qpid Java client when bouncing connection in onMessage

Issue

  • using message listener and onMessage() method for receiving messages from qpid broker
  • time to time we need to drop the JMS connection and re-open it
  • this is usually followed by thread leak where particular Dispatcher-0-Conn-* thread is not terminated

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise MRG Messaging 2.*
    • qpid-java client
