How do we find out where icmp packets are getting dropped?
Issue
- When we try to
pingone host, it succeeds, but when we ping another host on the same network, it fails. - On other hosts where this has happened, restarting the network or rebooting the server fix the problem.
- Breaking the bond between eth0 and eth1 and configuring the interface with an ip address outside of the bond also fixes the problem.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
- Mellanox OFED 10-Gigabit Ethernet driver
