VM guest gets paused when it is trying to read behind the end of the virtual disk.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

When the guest operating system tries to read behind the end of the virtual disk, qemu will detect this action as an IO error as it does not differentiate between external and guest triggered block I/O errors. Qemu then pauses the VM as the disk error policy is stop in RHEV.
