network data corruption

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

Server has 2 Network interfaces.1Ge and 10Ge.

The 10Ge interface is driven by the Mellanox OFED driver, while the 1Ge is driven by the native driver.
Both the 1Ge and 10Ge interfaces are under the same TCP stack.

Question 01 : Would it be possible that a defect in the OFED driver can corrupt the incoming traffic from the 1Ge interface?

Question 02 : If the receiving data packet is corrupted by the network card driver, and when these corrupted data are presented to the TCP stack, should the TCP stack detect the corruption and reject the packet ?

Question 03 : How can we tell if the check sum verification is done in hardware or in software in our case?
