How do I set the frequency of server status monitoring which uses "platform-mbean" service through management interface on EAP 6

Issue

We are using Management interface to monitor our JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.x instances. We cal following URL to retrieve data and display the output on our own monitoring page.

How do I set the refresh frequency ? Is there any side effect if I call this "platform-mbean" service too often ?
