Is it possible for SOAPProxy action in ESB to dynamically work with modified endpoint URL between HTTPS and HTTP protocols?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • The requirement is that SOAPProxy action in ESB should be able to dynamically work with modified endpoint URL between HTTPS and HTTP protocols.
  • ESB service uses SOAPProxy action to invoke a WebService and the WSDL for the same WebService is placed inside the ESB archive. However, the endpoint present in this WSDL is just a place-holder. The actual endpoint is picked up by the ESB application dynamically whenever needed. Also, SOAPProxy uses httpclient.property file which has keystore path for certificate and password details in case it needs to invoke HTTPS based endpoint. Since the endpoint URL may get changed to use any of the protocols HTTP or HTTPS , SOAPProxy is expected to dynamically pick the change in URL and use the necessary properties from httpclient.property file.
  • Is it possible to achieve this kind of requirement or architecture?
