How to specify unauthenticated-principal in jboss-ejb3.xml ?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 6.x
Issue
- When a
TimerServiceorMessageDrivenBeancalls an ejb method, there is no identity in ejb context,hence when callingcontext.getCaller() , JBossusually returns anunauthenticated identity. In previous versions ofJBoss EAPthe name of thisunauthenticaded identitywas configurable in the security config as follows:-
<jboss>
<unauthenticated-principal>myName</unauthenticated-principal>
[…]
</jboss>
- Is there a way to specify
unauthenticated-principalin jboss-ejb3.xml ?
Resolution
- Currently, this feature is not available in EAP 6, it may be available in the future versions.
- An
RFE PRODMGT-618is opened for the same.
