How can I have a server/listening process stop when I send a KILL signal to the client application?
Issue
- On a system which serves as a client to a TCP service, such as OracleNet, when a
killcommand is sent to the OracleNet process the server on the far end does not exit the process.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
