Setting CUPS lpoptions do not seem to be affecting the printout in RHEL

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

I have added lpoptions using:

lpoptions -p SPPRTCNTR -o"cpi=17 l=66 page-bottom=0 page-left=25 page-length=66 page-top=0"

Yet when we print reports to this printer, the print comes out of the printer in "10 lpi" and NONE of the features that we set with lpoptions.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Common Unix Printing System (CUPS)
