  • hung nfs mount caused 6.4 nfs client to go to infinite mount/pathconf loop
  • nfs server sending a FIN to PATHCONF request without response

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 (NFS client)
    • kernel 2.6.32-358 and higher
  • NetApp filer (NFS server)
    • FAS3040 running ONTAP 7.3.5
  • NFSv3
