Request to enhance gnome-packagekit functionality in the event of an error.

Issue

  • Sometimes users are unable to perform updates unless they first run:
yum clean headers && yum clean metadata && yum makecache

This may be a result of incorrect cache data on the client, possibly due to having updated while changes were being pushed to a yum repo. If gnome-packagekit is unable to perform an update, perhaps it could ask the user if they'd like to clean out metadata and cache and retry?
