problems cancelling print jobs in RHEL
Issue
I powered off the print server, the job still shows in the queue. The following commands show what happens when I cancel the print job and it still appears.
# cancel HP2
cancel: cancel-job failed: No active jobs on HP2!
# lpstat -o
HP2-7 root 5199872 Tue 11 Feb 2014 09:56:09 AM EST
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.4.2
