When using Oracle OCI driver, <new-connection-sql> is not working

Issue

  • The parameter <new-connection-sql> is not applied when setting 'oci' mode in JDBC (Ex. jdbc:oracle:oci@)

The configuration is:

<new-connection-sql>
***
</new-connection-sql>

The same configuration works when using the THIN configuration (Ex. jdbc:oracle:thin@)

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6
  • Oracle JDBC OCI Driver 11.2.0.3
  • SGBD Oracle 11.2.0.3 Server
