Unable to configure a bond on a RHEL host in RHEV

Issue

  • In RHEV 3.2, an Internal Engine Failure error appears when trying to configure the network ports and bonding on a RHEL hypervisors through the RHEV Admin Portal.

  • The following error, "A slave interface is not properly configured", was displayed in the Admin Portal when configuring a bond on a RHEL host with a NIC device configured for dhcp:
