How to overwrite the config files using features in Karaf? - Red Hat Customer Portal

Issue

Using fabric and features files to perform deployments of bundles. While hoping to also strictly version our configuration files using provisioning through features as described here [1]
This seems to work fine for a new (non existing) file, but will not overwrite any existing file with a new version.
Is this a bug, or is there a way to force overwriting of existing configuration files?
