Error received when running startx: "no server /usr/bin/X"?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • While trying to start a X Server gives the below errors
  • Upon running the command startx the following errors are generated:
xauth: creating new authority file /root/.serverauth.27114

xinit: no such file or directory (errno 2): no server /usr/bin/X in PATH

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
