Console hangs when accessed from Vmware, Error: "occurred while quiescing the virtual machine"
Issue
- When running Red Hat Enterprise linux 5.8 and running on vmware centre 5.5.
- The console freezes up on the console and terminal, then no key is able to be entered on the console.
- Temporarily in order to bring back the console, the affected server has to be reset on the vmware console.
