Resized block devices size is not getting reflected on the guest OS.
Issue
- If a virtio disk is open in guest and a disk resize operation is done, (virsh blockresize), new size is not visible to tools like
"fdisk -l" unless umount/mount or guest reboot is performed.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3 Guest.
- RHEL Guest with kernel 2.6.32-358.2.0.el6 and lower version.
