- After a scheduled reboot on one of my servers,
NIC bondingis causing network connectivity to behave erratically. As most users
/homedirectories live on a remote NFS server, this translates to general slowness at the shell, either when running any command, or by attempting tab-autocompletion. All users also include an NFS-mounted
/softwaretree in their
PATH. I created a test user with a local home, and no NFS shares references in the
PATH, and the system is responsive until one tries to access the NFS shares.
