JBOSS loses database connection to oracle when JBoss ON agent is running

Issue

  • We have multiple (6) RHEL 6.5 x86_64 JBOSS EAP servers lose connection to Oracle database when the JBoss ON agent is running. With the JBoss ON agent disabled, JBOSS EAP does not lose connectivity to the oracle database. What could be the reason?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.2
  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.x
