How to enable OpenSSH session key regeneration?
Issue
- We would like to configure OpenSSH to regenerate the session encryption key in order to make it harder to break.
- sshd KeyRegenerationInterval query
- in our installation it is set to Zero most likely after the incident Red Hat recommendation. do we need this setting for ssh2 sessions, what does 0 means, why not the default value of 3600? this is in sshd_config
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- OpenSSH
