Issue

  • Logins are delayed up to one minute or so

  • pam_systemd reports the following messages

    pam_systemd(crond:session): Failed to create session: Connection timed out
    pam_systemd(sshd:session): Failed to create session: Connection timed out
    
  • systemd (PID 1) reports the following messages every second for a few seconds

    systemd[1]: Looping too fast. Throttling execution a little.
    
  • systemd-logind reports the following messages

    systemd-logind[XXX]: Failed to abandon session scope, ignoring: Connection timed out
