Admin login does not work in Red Hat Jenkins container images

Issue

  • Cannot login into Jenkins because the admin password was not generated.
  • The /var/lib/jenkins/password file is empty.
  • The initial Jenkins password is not showing up in the startup logs.

  • Jenkins containers are reporting the following error:

    jenkins Exception NoClassDefFoundError: org/mindrot/jbcrypt/BCrypt
