Issue

  • While starting apache after installation of SAP content server results in the message "mod_sapcs2.so is garbled".
    Following message is seen
   httpd: Syntax error on line XX of /path/httpd-2.2.22/conf/httpd.conf: API module structure 'sapcs_module' in file  
   /path/httpd-2.2.22/modules/mod_sapcs2.so is garbled - expected signature 41503232 but saw 41503230 - perhaps this is  
   not an Apache module DSO, or was compiled for a different Apache version?

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3
  • MAXDB 7.6
  • Third party httpd-2.2.22
