The insights-client connects with cert-api.access.redhat.com and fails with an SSL error since updating the insights core version to 3.6.7

Since the release of insights core
3.6.7
, every execution of the insights-client command shows the following behavior:# insights-client Starting to collect Insights data for rhel.example.com HTTPSConnectionPool(host='cert-api.access.redhat.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /r/insights/platform/inventory/v1/host_exists?insights_id=xxxxxxx-a643-48d0-8f4f-xxxxxxx (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, '[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate (_ssl.c:1147)'))) The Insights API could not be reached. Writing RHSM facts to /etc/rhsm/facts/insights-client.facts ... Uploading Insights data. Successfully uploaded report from rhel.example.com to account xxxxxx.

The problem is visible only for the RHEL systems that have the
insights core
version updated to3.6.7
and are being managed by a Red Hat Satellite/Capsule server.
