backend-listener crashes with puma/puma_http11 LoadError when apps.3scale.net/disable-async is true in APIManager CR

Issue

  • The backend-listener pod crashes after setting the apps.3scale.net/disable-async: "true" annotation on the APIManager custom resource, which sets CONFIG_REDIS_ASYNC=0.
  • The pod logs show a LoadError with the message cannot load such file -- puma/puma_http11.
