[Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 when fetching repository on RHEL 7

Issue

• When attempting to fetch the repository on RHEL 7 server the following error occurs:

  # yum update
  
  This system is registered with an entitlement server, but is not receiving updates. You can use subscription-              manager to assign subscriptions.
  https://cdn.redhat.com/content/dist/rhel8/7Server/x86_64/appstream/os/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTPS   Error 404 - Not Found
  Trying other mirror.
  

• Installing packages in RHEL 7 fails with [Errno 14] HTTPS Error 404 - Not Found.
