How to identify contributors to sudden and frequent load spikes?
Issue
- We are consistently observing high system load, but cannot identify processes in TASK_RUNNING or TASK_UNINTERRUPTIBLE state - likely because they are very short-lived.
- By the time I check with ps command, they have already disappeared.
- How can we identify the contributors to sudden and frequent load spikes, even when the tasks are too short-lived to be identified?
