subscription-manager failing with HTTP error code 410: Gone

Issue

• subscription-manager refresh is failing with below error:

sudo subscription-manager refresh
Unit xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx has been deleted (HTTP error code 410: Gone)

• Server unable to access cdn.redhat.com due to invalid entitlement certificate

$ more /var/log/rhsm/rhsm.log 

rhsm.connection.NoValidEntitlement: Cannot access CDN content on: cdn.redhat.com using any of entitlement cert-key pair: {('/etc/pki/entitlement/xxxxxxx.pem', '/etc/pki/entitlement/xxxxxx-key.pem')}
